But in the meantime, are there any I've missed that are filling what seems to otherwise be a pretty glaring gap for PvE purposes?ĮDIT: Okay, I wasn't quite up on how the temperature ratings work, though the game still seems heavily weighted (pun intended) towards heavy armor for the highest levels of temperature resist./r/ConanExiles is the official subreddit for Conan Exiles, the open-world survival game set in Robert E. ![]() The spreadsheets likely ought to be revisited at some point so that people don't spend resources creating armor that doesn't give the resistance they expect. The readouts on the armor piece appear to be accurate, which leaves things in a disappointing state for light/medium options especially if you don't have the DLCs. Verified by crafting the above and walking outside (no shelter bonus) otherwise naked to equip them and check under the Stats tab. Another example is the Zingaran armor which only comes in an epic version and according to these spreadsheets should be providing several points of temperature resistance per piece but in practice provide no more than the usual 1/1. Speaking of the Silent Legion light/medium sets (and others), the 3.0 spreadsheets currently floating around seem flat out wrong in their temperature listings in a lot of cases. On the other end the light and medium versions of Silent Legion have no extra temp resistance and that's kind of a headscratcher considering they originate from the same place as the heavy version which has extra cold protection and the Redeemed which has no l/m version at all. Even factoring in the DLCs it's only the epic Turanian and Yamatai sets that have a higher heat resistance than normal on their light and medium versions. I'm looking to craft up an alternate light/medium armor set with a decent armor rating and bonuses and also more heat resist but I'm running into a problem, which is that almost all the endgame armor sets with temperature bonuses are heavy armor. I do have Mistmourn but that doesn't help when you're trying to climb, drag a thrall, etc. Every time I'm there I'm having to hotbar ice and splash it on myself every couple of minutes. So I've been enjoying the Skelos Cultist Master set, but ironically it gives more cold than heat resist so isn't the greatest for exploring the area where NPCs are wearing it, i.e.
